Munich, 05th June 2018 – The Con­sul­ting firm Ebner Stolz advi­sed Lon­don-based ALLI­ANCE AUTO­MO­TIVE GROUP (AAG) in the acqui­si­tion of the Ger­man family-owned HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE UNTER­NEH­MENS­GRUPPE inclu­ding its 13 ope­ra­ting legal enti­ties by pro­vi­ding finan­cial and tax due dili­gence as well as SPA sup­port.

Jean-Jaques Lafont, CEO of AAG com­men­ted: „We are exci­ted to wel­come HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE wit­hin our orga­niza­tion. With this acqui­si­tion we furt­her pur­sue our expan­sion plans in Ger­many and now dis­pose of an addi­tio­nal com­pe­ti­tive logistic net­work to serve our custo­mers.” Uwe Hen­nig, Mana­ging Direc­tor of HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE, added: “I am deligh­ted that HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE has found a new home with AAG. Our custo­mers and emp­loyees will bene­fit from the expe­ri­ence and the inter­na­tio­nal net­work of AAG.” More­o­ver, with this tran­sac­tion busi­ness suc­ces­sion was secu­red, parts of the cur­rent Mana­ge­ment will remain post-clo­sing. 

Lon­don-based AAG belongs to the US-Ame­ri­can com­pany GENUINE PARTS COM­PANY. It is amongst Europe’s lea­ding auto­mo­tive spare parts pro­vi­ders, sup­p­lying over 100,000 dif­fe­rent parts to about 1,500 who­le­sa­lers and 26,000 work­shops, ear­ning reve­nues of about EUR2 bil­lion.

HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE UNTER­NEH­MENS­GRUPPE, head­quar­te­red in Essen (North Rhine-West­pha­lia) is a medium sized com­pany with 31 bran­ches and more than 9,000 custo­mers. Gene­ra­ting reve­nues of more than EUR160 mil­lion it has become a lea­ding Euro­pean pro­vi­der in the pas­sen­ger and com­mer­cial vehi­cle seg­ments.
